
Jim Dunphy, CEO of South Shore Bank, was honored with the Community Impact & Leadership Award at the 2026 GROW Associates Annual Gala at The Tirrell Room in Quincy. The event brought together supporters, community leaders, families, and partners for an evening dedicated to celebrating impact, inclusion, and opportunity.
Jim was recognized for his leadership and longstanding commitment to strengthening the community through service, partnership, and support for organizations that expand access and opportunity. His work reflects the spirit of the award and the values celebrated by GROW Associates, whose mission is to empower adults with developmental disabilities to live, work, and thrive in their communities.
Held on Friday, June 5, at The Tirrell Room, the annual gala was GROW Associates’ largest fundraiser of the year. The evening’s proceeds support programs and services for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities throughout more than 30 communities across the South Shore.
The evening also included recognition of GROW staff and participants, highlighting the achievements, dedication, and spirit of the individuals at the heart of the organization’s mission.
Dessert was provided by the GROW Bistro, adding a special touch to the evening while showcasing another program that supports skill-building and opportunity.
Dunphy was joined at the gala by South Shore Bank colleagues and members of the Bank’s Board of Directors, whose presence reflected the strong support and admiration he has earned across the organization.
