Golfing for Financial Literacy

As a society, we put a wealth of resources into teaching children (and adults) to read and write . . . but are we giving financial literacy the same attention? South Shore Bank thinks not, and as such has launched a number of community initiatives to boost financial know how.

One of the many financial literacy initiatives is the Bank's partnership with the EverFi program, focused on bringing the Financial Scholars Program to 26 high schools through out the South Shore, free of charge.

South Shore Bank believes Financial literacy programs can have a positive effect not only on the life of the individual but also on the financial well-being of the entire community, so this year the proceeds from the Bank’s Golf Classic will go to continuing and expanding the EverFi program in our communities.

Sponsor, golf, or donate . . . Be part of this year’s Tournament and help us further our commitment to our communities.  For more information download the 2017 SSB Golf Brochure .
