Paul Mollica Joins South Shore Bank
South Shore Bank is proud to announce the hiring of Paul Mollica, a 40-year veteran of New England banks who has built a reputation on his focus on customer service and sound financial advice.
In a new role that has been created especially for him, Paul will assist with South Shore Bank’s cash management, commercial lending and specialty lending. He will report directly to President and CEO James Dunphy, and will work on evaluating and overseeing the bank’s mentoring and coaching program, loan approval processes, client relationships and area activities, among other operations.
"We are very excited to welcome Paul to the South Shore Bank team,” Dunphy said. “Paul has built a reputation on community leadership and client relationships, and we look forward to seeing his expertise combined with the great team we have assembled here.”
For nearly a decade, Paul served Webster Bank as Boston’s Regional President, responsible for the office’s $1.4 billion portfolio. His commitment to customer service helped to grow Webster’s presence in Boston. Prior to his work at Webster Bank, Mollica worked for Bank of America for 30 years, serving in roles such as Senior Client Manager and Senior Vice President, eventually working his way up to Regional President.
Paul holds an M.B.A. from Suffolk University and a Bachelor’s degree from Stonehill College. An active member of his community, Paul has served as a board member of Archbishop Williams High School, Associated Industries of Massachusetts, and the South Shore YMCA. He also serves on the Boston Conservancy’s Board of Overseers and the Town of Abington’s Preservation Committee.
Paul lives in Abington with his family.
