Fraud Detection

The Bank has an automated fraud detection and prevention service for Bill Pay customers. This feature, called FraudNetTM, analyzes each online bill payment and halts the processing of suspicious transactions until they have been reviewed by fraud specialists. FraudNet monitors transactions 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

If fraud is suspected, a Fraud Control Representative will contact you to determine if the payment is legitimate. This typically happens prior to the due date of the transaction so the payment can be released in time to still be processed in accordance with your instructions. Transactions that are confirmed as fraudulent will be cancelled and a Customer Care case will be opened against the affected transactions.
